Documentary of Gift Model Production by CRRC Meishan Vehicle Co., Ltd
In the world of corporate gifts, an exquisitely crafted and highly restored vehicle model is not only a gift of friendship, but also a microcosm of the company’s strength and craftsmanship spirit. This time, we present to you the birth process of this CRRC vehicle gift model specially designed for CRRC Meishan Vehicle Co., Ltd. It embodies our persistent pursuit of details, aiming to perfectly reproduce the charm of real cars in every inch, with a target restoration rate of over 90%.
1、 Proficient in Engineering: Starting from the Framework Construction of Nano
The first step in production is to shape the ‘skeleton’. Our craftsmanship team was not in a hurry to take action, but first conducted in-depth analysis and digestion of the three-dimensional data of the target vehicle, ensuring that every proportion and every arc was clear to their minds. Subsequently, based on the accurately calculated drawings, high-precision cutting equipment was selected to perform initial processing on high-quality alloy materials and cut out the main frame components of the model.
The cut blank parts need to undergo repeated manual polishing and finishing, which is crucial as it determines the smoothness and accuracy of the overall contour of the model. Craftsmen rely on their rich experience to carefully polish every corner and joint surface with sandpaper and files, ensuring that the components can fit tightly together. Next, using a specialized metal adhesive, assemble and fix each component in sequence like completing a three-dimensional puzzle. This process requires extremely high patience and stability, as the accuracy of the framework directly affects the fit of the subsequent shell and the overall shape of the final model.

2、 Product and Material: Restoring the True Expression of Texture
The selection of materials is the foundation that gives vitality to the model. To ensure the robustness and stability of the model, we insist on using high-quality alloy as the main frame material, giving the model sufficient weight and stability.
The exterior of a vehicle is the core of visual and tactile perception. We selected high-quality alloy sheets with characteristics similar to real car body panels and stamped them using professional molds. Craftsmen need to finely adjust the stamping force and angle to perfectly present the streamlined shape of the front of the car, the sharp edges of the cab, and various curved changes of the body. After covering the alloy skeleton, the model has taken shape, and the luster and texture emitted by the metal material itself have initially demonstrated the precision and power of industrial products.

3、 Adorned with color: the finishing touch of color and details
Post processing and coloring are key steps for the model to move from “likeness like” to “likeness like”, and are also the core steps to demonstrate a 90% high fidelity.
The first step is to thoroughly clean and pre treat the formed model to ensure that the surface is dust-free and oil-free, laying a perfect foundation for spraying. The blending of paint strictly follows the standard color card of the real car, and is repeatedly compared by professional colorists until the color is not inferior. The spraying process is carried out in a dust-free paint spraying room. Experienced technicians use professional spray guns and use multi-layer thin spraying techniques to evenly and smoothly adhere the paint to the surface of the model, forming a full and layered color, and maximizing the simulation of the paint effect of a real car.

The most challenging aspect for craftsmen is the hand drawn outline of details. Minor details such as the “CRRC” corporate logo, vehicle number, warning stripes, etc. on the body of the vehicle cannot be achieved through mechanical spraying. At this point, our senior artist will hold a very fine brush, hold their breath and concentrate, and use steady hand to depict each stroke. This process cannot tolerate any errors, and every stroke must be precise and accurate to ensure clear identification and sharp lines, greatly enhancing the realism and collectible value of the model.
